Okay everybody. Enough of the bullshit, “what I did today” posts, Its time to get on a personal level! Here I am right now sitting at the FlavaWorks’ main office here in Chicago updating my website. Now think about that statement. Almost 6 months ago, I came into this industry not knowing anybody or what I was getting myself into. I was living in Oklahoma City living life the best way I knew how to; I had my own apartment, had my own car in my name and had a pretty steady job. I thought I was doing pretty good for an 18 year old. And then all of a sudden one night I was sitting at home with my two best friends ad we were talking about how cool it would be to be in porn and to be labeled as a “porn star.” I looked up different gay porn studios, I filled out a few applications online, and not even a week and a half later on February 28th, 2009, I was on my first airplane down to Miami, Florida. I had no idea what was going to happen, what I would do, or even what was ahead of me for that matter. I got down there, completed my first two scenes and I knew this is what I wanted to do full time. I wanted to be a Porn Star, and I didn’t care what anybody had to say or what anybody thought about it. I was gonna live my life for me and I was gonna work as hard as I could to achieve my goal.
I went back to Oklahoma City for two weeks after that to clear everything up back home. I was going to have to tell everybody what I was doing and what my dream was, even my parents. At first I was never going to tell my parents or family, but after I had basically “came out” all over again, the word spread like wildfire and within days my parents had already knew. At first, they were a little upset about it, but after they had saw that this is what I really wanted to do, they finally let all that go and now they support me 100%. Hell, I just had my first DVD sent to them a few days ago back in Oklahoma! Its a HUGE relief off of my shoulders knowing that I don’t have to hide anything from anybody, and what’s even better is that every single one of my closest friends back home also supports me 100% in everything that I do, for without them, I would be nothing. So two days before I was supposed to go back down to Miami, I was flying up to Chicago for my first time ever to shoot with Citiboyz.
At this point, I was getting more and more comfortable in front of the camera. So when I finally got there, I was really excited and ready to get it started! I had no idea who I was shooting with. I only knew that it was a threesome scene and I was going to be the bottom in the video. Steve, the owner of Citiboyz, first picked me up from the airport and we went straight to do the shoot. When we got there, he took some photos in various positions and we waited for the other guys to arrive. When they finally got there, I knew who it was right off the bat, Giovanni Summers and Karter James. We were going to do a food/home-ec theme where we all got really horny and just ended up fucking. I was soooo nervous! But after we started shooting, things relaxed by like a million. It turned out to be a really hot scene and I think we all had alot of fun. And that scene we filmed that day, is on the DVD called “Big Poles, Tight Holes”, and the first week it was out it was on the JRL top 100 list ranked at number 15. I was only in town overnight, so they both took me and showed me around Boystown. We hung out all night and the next day. I had a solo shoot right before I left and then it was off to the airport to go back to Oklahoma City overnight, then the next day fly to Miami. It was almost overwhelming!
It was hard leaving Oklahoma City that day on March 20th, 2009, for I knew that I would not be back for a while: May 16th to be exact. I had to say goodbye to my two best friends, my parents, my family and other friends. Now that was one of the hardest thing Ive EVER had to do. I had never been away from home that long before. I was forced to grow up that day. I got to Miami later on that night and was really excited to see everybody once again and get to work right away. But little did I know, the next day I would be on my way to Orlando, Florida, to attend my first promo event ever at the Parliemnt House. It was called Erotica, and I had no idea what it was or what we were supposed to do. When we finally get there, we set up our booth and waited until later that night. It was ridiculous how many people was there and wanted to get our autographs and take pictures with us! I had so much fun! It was my first glimpse into what was about to be ahead in my future.
But people always ask me, “Why porn?” And I always have the same simple answer; Ive always wanted to do something outside the box, something thats totally taboo and unexpected and Ive always wanted to be in the spotlight. And being born and raised in a small town in the desert of New Mexico then moving to such a conservative state like Oklahoma, I think I push the barriers on what’s considered “normal” in places like these. Nobody would have ever expected that me, a kid grew up as one of the quiet kids in high school, not really knowing what I was going to do with my life, to now becoming such a rising name in the Gay Porn Industry. If you have a dream, go for it. Don’t let anyone or anybody tell you otherwise. If you have a goal, do everything in your power to reach it. Because if you try your hardest, then one day your dreams can become a reality. Ive gotten to do stuff that I would have never had gotten the chance to do! I traveled all over the world, seen and met so many new people and overall, Ive just been enjoying my life! I honestly thank God everyday for what he has done for me in my life. I can honestly say that Im truly happy now and thats one thing I couldnt have said a year ago!

Its been a while since I’ve updated because things have been a little hectic lately with all the traveling and whatnot, but its time to get back on track. Alot of new and exciting stuff has been going on lately, so get your pens and pencils ready kids because class is now in session. The holidays were really good for me, ate alot of food, got some good gifts and partied my ass off for the New Year. I was in Miami celebrating the coming of the new decade & my birthday from late December right up until about a week ago, on January 13th. I had alot of fun in the big MIA as usual, but was so happy to get back to the CHI! And now that I’m back, I’ve been doing alot of proactive things in my life. Ive just recently signed up for a long term gym membership here at one of the highest rated gyms in Chicago and I couldnt be happier. Before this year, I worked out seldomly when I could, but one of my major New Years resolutions was to get into better shape and start eating more healthy. So whats the first thing I did? As soon as I got back to the Chi, I went down to my local gym and got a new membership and let me tell ya, only after two weeks, Ive seen dramatic changes not only out the exterior of my body, but also on the inside as well. I have more energy, my arms and chest are getting bigger by the day and my 6 pack is finally coming in. For the first time in my entire life, Ive actually been serious about working out in the gym and staying committed to it. I can say for the first time in a long time that Im actually proud of myself. My ultimate goal is by spring break (late March) to have gained at least 10 pounds of muscle and to have the body Ive always wanted. And as long as I keep doing what I’m doing and keep the determination that I have, then my goal will definitely be reached and I will hopefully even surpass that goal by late March. Evey week I will be posting my workout results so be sure to check back! And also another thing thats up for discussion is my newest DVD, “Cody Kyler’s Pinga Paradise.” It has been selling like crazy and flying off the shelves in our Miami warehouse. I’d like to thank everyone out there for buying my DVD and to those who hopefully will! Just sending out a great big thanks and to be on the lookout for my next DVD set to come out in late Spring.
