2009; the lost year?

hey everybody! Hope every body is having a terrific Tuesday, because I know I am! Today has already started off good; woke up early, walked to and got some coffee and some pumpkin bread from Caribou Coffee shop, and later today I have plans to go watch Twilight and New Moon with one of my really good friends here in Chicago.

Now I know that everybody has mixed feelings about the Twilight Saga, but ever since I saw Twilight in theaters last November in Oklahoma City, I gotta say from day one, I was hooked. There is something about the sex appeal of a hot vampire that really gets me going. Weather that be the blood sucking or mysterious nature of the creatures, VAMPIRES ARE HOT! Especially when you look like Jacob or Edward, preferably Jacob. So in a nutshell, you can obviously tell that I’m excited to see New Moon!

Anyways, in other news, this Thursday I’m flying back to Oklahoma City for Thanksgiving to go see all my family and friends! I haven’t been home in about two months and I couldn’t be more excited to go back! Ill be there for a total of 5 days just relaxing and hanging out with my best friends back home. Its a really nice feeling when I can go back home and just be my old self; to a time pre-Cody Kyler. Without the support of my friends and family back home, I guarantee you I’d be a totally different person today. Without the pressures of hiding who I am, both in front of the camera and behind, it makes my life a little bit easier and stress free knowing that I can always count on the love and support of everyone back home. So this Thanksgiving weekend is going to be a well deserved and well needed trip!

Speaking of this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend, where in the heck has this year gone!? Can you believe its already almost a new DECADE?! Holy cow. I can remember back to a time when I was 12 years old just waiting until the day I turn 16 years old so I could finally drive to school, and now Its almost 2010 and my 19th birthday is coming up rapidly on January 7th! It seems like just yesterday I had just moved to Chicago and was watching the 4th of July fireworks with my co-workers, and now Christmas is coming up already? One word: WOW. This just proves how short life is. I never really thought about it before like this, but time goes by SO fast! Just earlier this year I had just turned 18 and was starting my career in the modeling/adult film industry. And looking back at the past year is a absolutely mind blowing. Ive been to 5 different countries, flown well over 100,000 miles, won Best Actor US at the Hustlaball Awards, been on 5 different DVD covers, have my own website and my own DVD and have lived in both Miami and Chicago. I feel as if Ive accomplished so much in 2009 and going to keep doing so in the upcoming decade. The possibilities are endless if you just keep your head up high, regardless of what ANYBODY says or thinks about you and just have the will to keep moving on. So I say, 2010, bring it on! Because Cody Kyler is gonna take this bull by the horns and take it down head on!

My body’s to BOOTYLICIOUS for ya babe…

Hey everybody! As you may know, the past weekend I was in London, England attending and performing at “Bootylicious,” an urban rave club in London. I left Chicago on Friday afternoon at 1pm to NYC’s JFK airport for a two hour layover, then it was off to London! Myself along other FlavaWorks exclusive and longtime good friend of mine, DeAngelo Jackson, were scheduled to appear at Saturday nights event. I had gotten into London an hour before DeAngelo, so I had to wait for him to arrive off of his flight and made this video!

Anyways, after we got to our friends house, we took a 4 hour nap and went to got something to eat at a local Jamaican restaurant. Pretty good I gotta say for the UK! As the night slowly went on, we started going over our routine for the night and relaxing before our big performance. Our call time was midnight, so we left around 11:45pm. One we got to the club, it was already packed with eager club goers filled with anticipation of our long waited arrival. We got there, got a few drinks and went straight to the VIP lounge. We chilled for about 45 mins and then it was showtime. We got up there on stage, rocked it, and had a blast! Bootylicious 2009 was a total success! The party ended around 4am and we had to be at the airport at 7am, so obviously there was no sleep for any of us. We somehow managed to get all our belongings together and rush to the airport hoping to make our flights. Would I do it again- travel all that way for just a party, not even stay a full 24 hours and fly back the next morning? Heck yes I would! I live for stuff like this!

Yessir.

Hey everybody! Its another cloudy but not so cold day here in Chicago once again. Its been a pretty productive day so far, I gotta say. Once I woke up this morning, I knew that it was going to be a busy day, for tomorrow I take my trip to London, England for the weekend. I actually made a list of things to accomplish today; haircut, bank, Walgreens, laundry and a few other things. Once I got showered up and dressed, I was out the door and to the barber shop. Ive been to this place a few times, so I know who to go to- and no to go to for a good haircut. I walked in and 45 mins later I came out looking like a new man! The mohawk I once had, now gone. I felt as if I needed a change, so I decided to pull a Britney and chop it all off! I like it. I feel more “grown up” with my hair short. I have been doing my hair the same way for a few years now and every so often I like to mix it up. And so the end result: this!

Now that I got that task out of the way, I can go worry free to London tomorrow without worrying about how long my hair is! Anyways, some more stuff to talk about. My new video is out, “Cody Kyler’s Pinga Paradise” featuring me with Latino guys from around the world. I went searching high and low for these boys from the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to the little island nation of the Dominican Republic, my boys are CALIENTE! And you can see me in action with all of them on my new DVD which you can buy from www.cocostore.com Its been in the making for months now, but finally its out! And while we are on the subject, this is the fifth DVD I’ve made the cover of in the past 9 months! So as you can obviously see, I’ve been working hard! From my first DVD cover pf “Big Poles, Tight Holes” to “Mixxxed Nuts” to “Cody Kyler’s Pinga Paradise” things are moving pretty quickly! And I’m about to come out with another DVD with just me and the city of Rio de Janeiro. Still havent got a name for it yet, though. Any suggestions anyone?!

Around the world and back again

Hey hey everybody! I know its been forever since Ive updated, but over the past month, every single weekend Ive been in a different city across the world. Starting off I went from London to Berlin one weekend, to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic the next weekend, San Juan, Puerto Rico the weekend after that, then to Los Angeles/Palm Springs, CA last weekend, and I just got back from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this weekend. The past month has been probably the busiest month Ive ever had in my life, flying a total of well over 30,000 miles in one month. Ive been filming, both in front of and behind the camera, setting up shoots for other models as well as relaxing every where I go, like laying on the beach in Rio de Janeiro to going out to eat at some of the nicest restaurants in Santo Domingo. Ive seen some places that some people in the world will never get to see in less than one month, and I’m not even 19 years old yet. But I have been working hard everywhere I go. Over the past few months, I have been learning more and more how to do professional photography as well as learning how to film also. My dream one day is to become a professional photographer, and everyday I strive to get closer to my goal. I try to change and be different every time I get both in front of and behind the camera; I hate being the same as everybody else. Right now, Im getting ready to go back to London on Friday afternoon, November 20th, get there Saturday morning, work a party and hopefully get some work done, and on Sunday morning return back to Chicago. Ill be there just for one night, so hopefully everything will go smoothly! And then for Thanksgiving Im going back home to Oklahoma City to spend the weekend with my friends and family. I haven’t been home well over a month and a half, so its a well needed trip back home! Ive also been working alot ot my YouTube videos. Every where I go, I take my video camera with me and record most of the stuff I do.
